Ted Lasso Meets Richmond, VA

The 288 Group introduced an ambitious and novel idea to bring the cast and crew of Ted Lasso to Richmond, VA with idea to turn the fictional AFC Richmond football club into reality.

With far-reaching support from the Virginia Film Office, Richmond Region Tourism, Virginia Tourism Corporation, Laaser’s Ladybug Society, and the Richmond Kickers, we proposed to AppleTV+ an exhibition match featuring Kickers’ players blended with personalities from show to bring The Greyhounds to life.
